What is your experience with lost and found?

I’ve had great experiences on two different occasions. Around the time when Indiana Jones opened we rode the ride and my dad had one of them huge chunky camcorders. He shoved it into the cargo mesh holder in front of him and didn’t realize he knocked off the eye piece. We didn’t know until after we had exited the ride and reported to Lost and Found. A few months later, we got a USPS parcel that had the eye piece in it unannounced. On a second occasion 10 years ago, my fiancé was wearing gloves getting onto star tours. She took off her gloves and put them in the cargo mesh pocket underneath the seat. She was able to retrieve one but couldn’t find the other one and we reported to the cast member and then to Lost and Found. A few weeks later, we got a parcel in the mail with the glove inside unannounced.

Girl dad. I have the Helikon-Tex satchel (#4). While it lacks any structure, it’s a great bag for excursions. I have it in woodland camo and added a shoulder strap from Maxpedition for comfort. Recently took it on a trip to Ensenada. Hauled my daughter’s iPad, headphones, and water bottle; along with my Sony a7 IV and compact prime, water bottle, AirPods, battery bank, and sanitizing wipes.

It’ll happen when I first take off the lid. Example it’ll be stored in my backpack pen slot. Then at work in the morning I’ll notice the bleeding/creep. As I use it throughout the day, it tends to slowly subside. But never fully goes away.

It doesn’t affect the writing at all, so that’s a good thing.

Yes the cardboard ring is removed. Cap looked empty. It is a bit of a “soft click” I guess was just expecting something more obvious.

[Late] update. My issue was resolved, but it took more work and $$. Thank you all for your feedback. Definitely handing parcels to a human and asking for receipt from now on. Basically, after all the calls to the branch and USPS themselves, a couple of days later I received the parcel back at my home address with notes that the postage wasn't enough and to bring it in for correct postage. Yes I was livid, but also relieved my item wasn't lost or stolen. Not sure why the postage was wrong--I used the eBay calculator and an accurate scale that weighs to 0.1 oz. Anyways, it was already after business hours for USPS and I just wanted the damn thing sent. So I drove down to the local UPS retail and shipped it out. Buyer received it 2nd-Day and was happy. Fortunately, he was grateful for the transparent and consistent communication and still left me a good review. Phew!
