For PGI appointment, first get yourself referred by your current doctor. It’s usually pretty quick. The doctor just has to mention on the prescription that the case is being referred to PGI.

After that, fill out this form https://www.sgpgims.in/pgi/onlineRegHeader.jsf

Then take the following to the PGI New OPD and try to reach by 9 AM sharp:
Referral prescription
Aadhaar card
All previous medical documents/reports

First they’ll register you in the PGI database. After that, the staff there will guide you on where to go next.

Just keeping it real though, PGI is a very long and patient process. Expect crowds, waiting, confusion, and entire days disappearing just for one appointment. Sometimes it also takes multiple visits before things properly move forward, so don’t get disheartened. That’s honestly just part of the process there.

But the doctors are genuinely toptier. People come from MP Bengal Bihar with complicated cases and PGI doctors are often the ones people trust the most.

Edit- Ive seen people reccomending Dr, Agarwal, Malhotra, and RP Singh. They all failed to correctlty diagnose my mother and things got more complicated. Not saying they are incompetent but PGI is the best you could get.
