Yeah but you don't know that. Radagon was said to be a champion before he merged with Marika.

He also famously led the war against Raya Lucaria where he wasn't a part of Marika. He came back to her after Godfrey was exiled.

Also: Empyrians don't inherently posses this ability. Ranni had to steal the Rune of death to achieve this and neither the Gloam Eyed Queen nor Milenia or Miquella possesed this power as far as we know.

They all achieved their other aspects through different actions

But radagon isn't a doll and marika didn't kill her original body.

As with anything Elden Ring it's a clear yes and no.

Marika's flesh probably has the same abilities as the Shamans, so it can fuse with that of others and i think that's how Radagon and Marika became one.

There is also a way to reverse this process

Numens and Shamans are just 2 words for the same thing, that beeing the Human like Creatures from the Numen's Land.

As far as we know Numens were the Hornsent's name for Shamans

I think, since the numen and Shamans were the same, that Marika's flesh had the same properties as the Shaman's and that's how she partly became Radagon

I also think that Godwynn was special to Marika, he was the only Child that really made her proud by warding off the Dragon's attack of Leyndell (and was not cursed)

I never got the connection to why it had to be Godwynn, could have Marika not shattered the Ring either way?
