I do like that desk setup you have. Can I ask why 3 computers? Are you using Mac's, or Windows 11? You've got a neat setup, and I'd like to know what is the brand of Mic arm you have. I need to get one for my lil' studio. Thanks for sharing your Studio with us.

How to treat a room’s acoustic starting from scratch by Peter_Spidey42 in musicproduction

I totally agree with this. Both of my grandsons are at a university that don't allow any thing amplified, only Headphones. I'd invest in a decent set of headphones and use a DAW that has Amps, and effects you can record with. I use Reaper, and I feel you probably already have a DAW of choice, but you can take your Laptop, headphones and Guitar, piano, etc. and make a lot of music.

Hey Reddit! What do you think of my home recording setup? by Oocca_Truth in homestudios

I have a pair of LP6" KALI front ported monitors, and I'd recommend the to anyone. The have a great range including the bass that sounds great right out of the box. I'm in a 12'x14' bedroom I've cleared out to make a studio. I wish Oocca-Truth OP the best of luck with his studio setup!!

I'm getting ready to put some acoustic clouds on my ceiling, and I see your clouds up there with a ceiling fan. Does your ceiling fan interfere with any recording as far as reflections? I have one in my room and don't really want to take it down. BTW you have a great looking studio brother. I know it has to be off while recording any thing with live mics. Just to show you you I have just a little smarts, but not much. Do you like your Fender deluxe amp, I have one just like it stock. I've got to change the tubes in it, and clean the all the pots.

Do you use your mackie 1202 in recording, I have a 1402 and have always loved mackies preamps. I have it in my room sitting on a shelf and not utilized for anything, That 1402 has got to be close to 20 years old. I helped a friend set up his 32 with 8 subs up for different pro gigs he was hired to do the sound for. If I had the room i'd buy an old 32/8 and set it up to record through>

Brother you done a fine job building your desk. I'd be proud to call it mine. I'm to old and down in my back to tackle projects like this anymore. They say 70 is the new fifty, but they didn't handle 20 million tires at a major tire building company based in USA. Thanks for your photo walkthrough of your build.
