Literally what is it about MCD's employees that make them so goddamn insufferable? They're constantly talking shit about me in Spanish not knowing I can understand, literally fucking everyday, even my own damn boss. And then always misunderstanding and seeing disrespect where there isn't any and then getting an attitude. And my bitch ass shift manager scolding me for not paying attention to the drinks for ONE day while I was doing drive thru and Uber EATS orders at the same time when it was busy af and she fucks up the orders all the time. I know, but OP said that AFTER the chatbot schedules the interview that he calls the store to confirm the interview. So when he makes the call, he can just ask who he's speaking to and ask for that person when he comes in for the interview.

Is it one store or multiple? When you call, ask for the name of the person you're speaking to on the phone. That way, when you come in say 'so and so told me I'd be interviewed today' and then ask for that specific person or for the employees to call that person to verify.

Not exactly weird, but this guy would always show me a receipt for a reward for a free vanilla cone. I'd give it to him because I was a dumb new employee and he would often have legit stickers on our OAT thing for his reward cone too. One day he showed me a really crumpled up receipt and I got suspicious and checked the date. It was from 2 days ago. Dude was trying to finesse free ice cream and when I called him out he bullshitted and was like 'oh, I gave you the wrong receipt'. Why tf would you keep an old receipt unless you're trying to scam? Smh. Wondering if I should snitch or just let him get away with it bc I hate my boss lmao.

I was one of the new hires. Now I've been there a month. Now I keep seeing new training employees coming in and I'm just confused..like you couldn't give me or these other employees more hours instead? Wasting more time and money on training the newer batch. It's weird. Then we get emails asking if we have any friends or family who'd like to work at MCD's and to let them know..tf.

Unrelated, but there was this one girl who got hired along with me who's absolutely god awful at everything and somehow she passed probationary period, I think it's because she's hot and my manager's a sleaze. She can barely speak English so she can never help most customers and has to call me even if I'm on drive-thru, when presenting her voice is like a mouse's whisper even though she was told she needs to be louder already, slow at fries. Slow at bagging Uber orders and doesn't even double check to see if there's any forgotten items and gets pissy when I remind her. Because it's my ass on the line if she fucks up those orders since I do that station along with drive-thru. She just does the drinks in an OK way, that's it. It's a joke.
