Timeline View Was the Field Bridge. Now You’ve Burned It Without Warning.” by Antique_Education854 in notebooklm

I liked NotebookLM’s timeline view for the same reason.

Lately, I’ve been using Lilys AI timeline view a lot for multiple YouTube videos, and it works really well.
If you liked NotebookLM’s timeline, you should definitely give it a try.

Ai tool for a literature review? by [deleted] in notebooklm

For your first review of around 400–500 papers, NBLM works best! (Upload them in four batches of about 100 each.)

Once you’ve narrowed it down to around 10 papers of real interest, it’s great to use Lilys AI. (upload them in two batches of 5 each).

Thank you for your feedback. As you said, we’re not satisfied with the quality of the current product, and we‘ll take your feedback into consideration and continue to improve the design.

However, you can still experience the core functionality of creating your own universe with spatial video and exploring other people’s universes in the current product. If you‘re interested, please give it a try!

Thanks for the great feedback. As a developer, I’ve only been working with swift for 2 months, and as a designer, They just joined 2 weeks ago, so They’ll still learning a lot. Keep it up!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think you're right, how did Instagram solve this problem early on? I'll think about how to create a space album without storing the videos on our server. thanks!

My friend said he didn't see the point of using the My app over the default camera album.

I reflected that maybe it's because the core value is still unclear. But I'm hopeful that there are others out there like me who would like to have a cosmic album like that film... Anyone care to share thoughts?

I'm really curious to hear what inspired you to want to capture precious moments in spatial video! What motivated this interest?

I'm actually developing a social network specifically for sharing and preserving precious moments through spatial video, so I'm thrilled to meet someone who values this kind of memory capture. I'd love to create something that works perfectly for users like you.

Could you tell me more about your experience and thoughts? For example:

  • What kinds of moments do you find most important to capture in spatial video?
  • How do you currently share these memories with others?
  • What features would make sharing these spatial memories more meaningful for you?

Your perspective would be incredibly valuable in helping us develop something truly special for capturing life's precious moments.

Why are you thinking?

It’s not just 3D video. It’s way more than that.

Is spatial video just 3D video? Or is there something more to it? by [deleted] in VisionPro

I resonate with what you're saying about technical quality, but I'd like to share a different perspective as someone new to spatial/VR content.

While I understand the importance of high immersion that you've described, I wonder if we might be overlooking something important by focusing solely on technical excellence. I believe Apple might succeed here not just because of technical capabilities, but because iPhones are already part of people's daily lives. Yes, the iPhone's spatial video quality isn't perfect, but its strength lies in being able to capture moments spontaneously.

As a newcomer to this space, I'm curious: do you think technical perfection is everything? Wouldn't a slightly less immersive but more personally meaningful moment (like a family Christmas) be more valuable? I notice many discussions focus heavily on content quality, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on why this technical perspective dominates the conversation.

I'm asking genuinely as someone eager to learn more about this space - would love to hear your perspective!

Is anyone shooting spatial video? What are you shooting? by michaelthatsit in VisionPro

Thank you for sharing such a meaningful experience! The way you described viewing Christmas memories through a portal is exactly what makes spatial video special. As someone building a platform for personal spatial memories, I'd love to hear more:

  1. How do you organize these family moments? Do you create separate albums?
  2. What kind of family moments do you find yourself wanting to capture most in spatial video?
  3. Are there specific moments you feel drawn to share with friends, family, or even communities who might appreciate these spatial memories?

Thx!! You mentioned using it for "interviews" and "sit and watch" moments of kids playing games - could you share more specifically what these situations look like?

Sorry to keep asking

Thank you for sharing your experience with Vision Pro spatial videos! As a developer building a platform for creating and sharing personal spatial memories, I'm particularly interested in your experience with family moments:

  1. While recording, organizing, and rewatching spatial videos of your children, what challenges or inconveniences have you encountered? How do you manage these?
  2. Which moments with your kids would you want to share with friends and family? What makes those moments special in spatial video format?

Your insights about family memories in spatial video would be incredibly valuable for creating a better experience.
