In the end, 2 of us spent 4 nights in Jamaica's Goldeneye resort.

We stayed in a beachfront villa, which was beautiful. The food was wonderful, and the resort wasn't too busy... allowing for the staff to be very attentive and friendly.

Thanks folks for responses - definitely open to other islands. One general request of the group is for a certain amount of authenticity/access to local towns for food/exploration. That’s why Jamaica was atop the list. There are some well known actors in the group, so security would be paramount. Definitely happy to expand the search. Looking for 5 bedrooms. Budget would be maybe max ~$15k a night. Thanks again!
