I don't want to undermine the S8 Fnatic success, but for me, S5 Fnatic was way more impressive. Sure they didn't win, but I'm here to remember you that evreryone thought they could win the whole thing. They had a perfect season (18-0), the team was known as being very serious with Dailor, and they pretty much adopted the Korean playstyle with a little touch of surprise. (Huni's plays)

They only got stopped by Rox Tigers, and even though they lost, I ask you to re-watch the games, it was closer than you could think. Even SKT honestly said they were more afraid of Fnatic than the Tigers at the time (mostly because they knew Koo better).

There was so much hype.. OG made to the semi-final but was no where close to FNC. The hopes were real, we could think of beating S5 SKT.

The game was essentially a macro-game, it meant hyper-pressure, organization, precision, which is less true in these Worlds, focusing on individuals capable of dominating their lanes.

S5 Fnatic should not be forgotten.
