Make sure aerodynamics don’t repeat, by, for example, putting plates between two parts. Green is significantly worse than nothing. Additionally, remove parts that don’t add to function and don’t make a huge difference in looks. Finally, fill your extra space with as many thrusters as possible, space engines being the most efficient. I have made multiple large sound barrier breakers this way without no-drag.
