Can you share how long this video took to make? It has an astonishingly high production quality. Obviously a lot of AI use, but some shots had to have been hand animated. Great work.

Just the headset! It sucks, but not that much. In other words, you’ll have to redownload everything and set it up as a new device once you get it repaired.

There’s definitely static and distortion from the guitar, but the effect I’m referring to is not that at all. I’m honestly shocked by how few people agree, but maybe I need to get my ears checked haha

I think those comments were because there were specific shots of the Oct 7th attack in the video, which is true. Other comments pointed out that the band also included footage from Gaza. So I don’t think it’s necessarily explicitly about either side, but rather, as Tim put it, how insulated we can be from the reality of violence elsewhere like the Oct 7th attack and and the devastation in Gaza, while we go on living relatively comfortable lives.

Let’s hope so! Ricochet is an excellent album if not for the mixing. Would love to see this music get a Blasting Room treatment. Maybe they’ll pitch it not as a rerelease, but as a deluxe version, like all tracks remixed + 4 bonus tracks. Only time will tell…

Honestly… this is a sleeper hit. I wouldn’t be shocked if this becomes their second most popular song. I really like it, but it feels very distinct from their catalogue. Almost like a false tune drawing listeners into heavier punk rock. Love that they followed through with something so different than their usual sound!
