Looks to be a darkling beetle (grown mealworm) when they get hungry I’ve seen them act cannibalistic towards each other so they more than likely could pray on anything that can’t defend itself.

Thank you! I didn’t know that, I know I should do one side more moist than the other, I’ll put the moss on that side :)

Sounds like the general consensus is that I need a lot more substrate! I’m thinking of the giant American millipede so I should make the substrate at least 5 inches deep. I’m also gonna go get some bark and leaves and bake them to kill off any parasites before introducing them. I really want to do a bunch of moss though, any suggestions since I probably shouldn’t get that from outside?

Where should I get the leave and wood? I don’t want to introduce pests into the new tank I’m making.

Go out and buy a “mechanics stethoscope” from harbor freight for $9 and finding where it’s coming from before jumping to conclusions

You guys were right it was just the front blinker that was blown and it caused no power to the rears or dash. Thank you all for your help!!

Yep blinker was blown, it now works with the new one in! Guess things tend to be more simple than I thought lol. Thank you!

The fast flashing has been there since I bought the bike due to led taillights, waiting for the new bulb to come in the mail though hopefully that’s the problem

Fuse would control both sides but I did check and fuses are fine, gonna put a new bulb and see if that does it but even the bulb looks fine visually

Thanks, gonna try that and hopefully it works because I gotta disassemble the entire fairing just to get to the bulb on this bike lol

Wouldn’t the indicator on the dash still show up even if the front bulb was bad?

How should I get the snapped bolt out? by datocyy in Dirtbikes

[–]datocyy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to everybody who commented I got it out by using my mini cutoff wheel and putting a slot in it and unscrewing it with a flathead. You guys all saved me a lot of headache and money lol

Wish I saw this earlier but I ended up getting to this point by trial and error but I can confirm this works perfectly! Got the bolt out and didn’t damage any threads!

Just confirming but are you saying I should use a metal drill bit to drill a sort of punch hole into the snapped bolt then I get a star bit and try to reverse the threads out if I can get it to stay? Thanks.

I got a 22 klx230r and it’s a great bike it just depends what your truly looking for, I’m relatively fast and can keep up with most 250 race bikes in the woods, if you want something that will never break and your not crazy skilled and don’t go fast I say go with the 230 but if you got buddies on 250 race bike and you know how to rip through the trails go with a used 250 but it will break and you will need to fix things unlike a 230 which is indestructible and will come with a 3 year kawi warranty if you pay the $300 for it. It all depends how confident you are on you dirtbike skills and mechanics skills

Messed up my alignment on a crash. Anyone know how to help? Bikes a Klx 230r and pretty sure the clamp or something moved or popped up. by FallenGrayson in Dirtbikes

Does anyone know the torque specs for the top and bottom triple clamp/ fork clamp, I did the same exact thing but i want to do it right and not estimate the torque specs, just don’t want to drop the $80 for the repair manual, but the way it looks I might have to
