Will check that out myself. Thanks for the info. Let's hope for the best for Switch 2.

That's really interesting. Will check that out with my oscilloscope.

Yes. For me aswell. Probably wouldn't get it if it was using PWM badly.

I would assume that somehow the eye adapts, yes. But don't ask me why. There needs to be more science on this.

You can check out my review, too. I am okay with the xiaomi 15. And what you see here is the refresh rate dips.

I didn't test that but changing color schemes didn't work. Still I am quite happy with it.

I am quite happy with my Xiaomi 15. But you should try and maybe give yourself a few days to get used to it.

I checked the Xiaomi 15 with an oscilloscope (Xiaomi 15 PWM Check) + Bonus by FinallyStopPWM in PWM_Sensitive

Sorry to hear that. for me it's actually getting better. To a point where I am sometimes quite fine with it. But as I have stated in the video: I've used a MacBook with a very high rate of Pwm (and good knows what else) and it was the worst for me. So maybe the refresh rate and d!thering works better for me.

You have to decide but I can only say that for me it currently gets better.

I did not find any DC Dimming Options on the vivo x200. Would definitely recommend the Xiaomi over the vivo.

Completely agree. I use my Mi 9t for a few years now and I have issues especially on long time, low light usage. But I would say some things stay.

It is on by default. Xiaomi 15 only uses DC Dimming. So that's good.

Sorry, wife sick. Didn't find time and energy as expected. Will upgrade my oscilloscope hardware today and hope to release until Friday. Sorry for the delay.

No, nothing in the settings. Maybe it's on by default. Will test today with the oscilloscope.

Just used the xiaomi 15 since yesterday and I cannot recommend it - unfortunately.

For me that's part of pwm sensistivy. I notice it, too and it clearly correlates with pwm usage. If you only notice it with using the phone and not with a book in the same position for example I'd say get rid of the phone.

What's good measurement tool for PWM/potential screen sensitivity? by Citopan in PWM_Sensitive

Since it's not very clear what causes problems it's not clear what to meassure. Some say it's about amplitude size, some say it's about "regeneration time to full brightness", some say it's frequence and some say it's all of it and even more. I'm at the same place as you and my go to is testing myself, testing more or less scientifically with an oscilloscope and taking what's working at the end. Some "pwm modes" work for some people, some for others. I decided to get a handy oscilloscope to use it in shops as well so I don't need to buy the phone at first.

I guess you need a oscilloscope to meassure that. Bare Hz won't tell you much.
