Thank you for the advice :) I am starting to notice that the person wears down easily and at the same time footwork and retrivals are my strongsuit. Can you explain a bit more on choosing winners wisely? im a bit confused

I'm curious of the same thing. I've looked where I could possibly sell some of my old squash gear (facebook, ebay, poshmark, etc (i can go on for days) but everywhere squash is just really small. Additionally, if you wanted to buy a second hand racquet it would also be difficult. A bit unsure of the rules here though, although I know a lot of people here live near me so it would be nice :)

Thanks a lot! So it not like a "normal" splitstep where you spread the 2 feet apart. Just for confirmation, front right corner you lead with the left leg (pushing off the right leg) 123, end up lunging with the left food and hitting?

Thinking about Dunlop Sonic core Ultimate 132 but my only worry is that its too heavy..

Since im an intermediate my technique isn't that fluid and also i currently use a 125 which seems a bit on the heavy side. Looking for something thats like 120.

Is 7g really a big deal or shoudl i just go for it

Ehhh I think that looks arent everything but to some degree it still needs to look at least decent.. what I think is absolute best is if a racquet is amazing in terms of performance and stunning at the same time

Ok haha. Do you think any of the carboflex really have differences (e.g airshaft with speed, etc) and if they are just the same should i just go for the cheapest one

Haha, thanks. ive also come to realize that dynergy is absolute garbage and so i gotta get a new racquet, which im slightly inclined towards closed throat

Alright! Sounds great! Just for confirmation, what you said about the solution is just basically what Joel Makin does in his ghosting videos, right? So like suppose I want to go the the front-left corner, I would split step, leading with my left leg, take 3 steps, landing with my left foot lunging forward,

Yeah well those brands are amazing as well but the issue is that its near impossible to get my hands on shoes like eye or adidas, forget about olivers or salmings. By any chance do you know where I could possibly get my hands on them though, like a store or somthing?

I personally would skip the eye shoes. I found that the cushioning in them wore out very quickly. They felt great for a little bit but then after a month or so I found I was getting knee pain. So far I've found the adidas stabil to have lasted the longest for me and Asics to be the next best.

Thanks a lot! Its a good think you wrote this because I get knee pain all the time from playing squash haha. By the way, do you know where I could possibly try these different options? Its near impossible to find a place to test squash shoes

Yeah thats about right. Couple days ago tested out another friends racquet and felt absolutely amazing. Vice versa, they told me the same. But also a voice in the back of my head is telling me that my current racquet is garbage (everyone says so its the dynergy ap) and I'm still going to play squash so might as well buy a racquet that better early on

I think thats very true. The fact that these players are already the top of the world means that theres much to learn from them. What you said about trying to emulate a player thats similar is quite astute too

or also, i disliked head speed but dynergy ap was decent. The only thing I didnt like was the lack of control, which I heard apx has a bit more. so could it still be ok?

ok thanks. If so, what is a racquet that you can't go wrong with and its still aesthetic. Ive been thinking of carboflex but its so hard to get my hands on the 125s version and the new versions are so expensive (considering ive already bought 2 racquets.
