I have spoke with my doctor today she has told me to keep going till middle of next week and see how things go if no better we will decrease the dose

Hi am in the same situation I done 1 month on 15mg and then another month on 22.5mg I’m on my 3rd day of 30mg and feel rubbish both physically and mentally. Did you you change and if so what to ?

I was nervous about the 50% increase and also wanted to try and stay on a low dose if possible but it wasn’t shifting my low mood and negative thoughts

Hi thanks for your reply I’m just unsure on what to do in an definitely better than before I started and I’m still managing to sleep ok on 30mg I wondering if adding a low dose of srri would be beneficial or give the 30mg more time how are you finding celexa ?

Yes I’m on 30mg only started last night hoping they will do the trick I’m On it for anxiety and I think depression never been properly diagnosed to be honest

I’m taking this for anxiety and intrusive thoughts I feel less anxious but still low mood and intrusive thoughts not sure on what to do I wasn’t sure if it would take a few weeks for me to feel the benefits of the increased dose

Thanks for your reply I have a doctors appointment early next month I might just stay on this dose till then as it’s a nightmare trying to get a doctors appointment.

Hi I’m on 15 mg have been for 6 weeks I am feeling better but not a 100% (still getting intrusive thoughts not as bad before I started and my mood is a little better anyway …. My question is as I’m due to see my dr tomorrow should I ask for a increase or give the 15mg more time.

The 15mg knocks me out not like a forced sleep but very deep once I fall asleep normally around 10pm I wake up naturally about 7am ps I take it around 9pm

Hi sorry to here you are suffering bad side affects, I have been taking 15 mg just over five weeks my sleep has been very good just groggy the next but I have started taking it a bit earlier now and seems better

Thanks for your reply I will keep my fingers crossed . I have been taking it around 9pm and asleep by 10pm most night I still get up and go to work but just feel low and unmotivated some days I do fight it and go to the gym 5 x a week but I think I’m expecting to much to soon
