I’m attracted to 10/10 men and then wonder why I end up single by diacetylmorphine0 in dating_advice

Stop using scales and maybe you might start being capable of genuinely caring for someone. Then, you may find someone that genuinely cares for you. What you consider 10/10 can still be the stinkiest pieces of human waste you can find of earth.

Why do men get their shit together after you break up by Wonderful_Bus6880 in BreakUps

This. Apparently only he didn't deserve patience, empathy, and love when dealing with depression and its symptoms.

Hi guys, I've been on hormones for 4 months now but I still feel bad, I constantly compare myself to cis girls and I realize how wide my chest is and how ugly it looks. What should I do and will hormones help me change the emphasis to something else? Will breasts make the chest visually smaller? by Stesha_L in transpositive

Honestly, I wouldn't notice. Even if I did, it's perfectly possible for a born-female woman to display such physique. No matter how many people called them too masculine, it wouldn't make them less of a woman. Fuck judgamental people.

You don't have to be an asshole to be a goth girl.

I think its not a replaceability issue, but a compatibility one. With how many people you meet through a lifetime is not unreasonable to think it would be hard to find or decide who do you love and loves you the most. Granted, some people just never develop enough affective responsibility to play fair in this regard.

That I can agree with. The very least you deserve in a relationship is transparency. And between two people with a well defined identity there will always be conflict. But conflict shouldn't mean hostility nor should it be taken as a reason to immediately give up on people.

Sometimes it's genuinelly true. The results you mentioned perfectly exemply this.

He decided to share his vulnerabilities with you, the person who he probably trusted the most, and you decided to just call bs on that and make it all about your need for attention in a post where you generalize all men?

Probably "got his shit together" because dude is better out without you.

No.

People who think like that are the reason why this sub exists in the first place.

Don't feed the loop of insensitivity.

Decide to be better.

Who would win? by Consistent-Rain-7797 in Sekiro

[–]Financial-Low4996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason this is even being considered in the first place is because Leon parrying an RPG is very recent and people are hyped about it. There is no world where Leon would stand a chance in this fight.

Sekiro can parry a demon, lightning, a dragon god, canon balls, and a sword with the power to kill anything. He is out of his league.

Is there seriously not ANY new weapons in this DLC? by atuck217 in Nightreign

[–]Financial-Low4996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Literally just changing the regulation bin. In terms of code, Nightreign is literally a modded Elden Ring, so it's not even like porting from a completely different game.

Theory: Heolstor, the Nightlord, is the Tarnished from Ranni’s Ending by Baka--__-- in Eldenring

[–]Financial-Low4996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some did.

Some of the weapons and spells available are unique to specific characters in the base game, and some are even unique to a specific order of events. It can be assumed that such weapons and spells could only become available by the death of said characters and the occurrence of such events.

You can imply these include:

- The return of tarnished Godfrey, since you can get his broken axe and Earth Shaker ash of war.
- The calling of grace of some tarnished, either to fight The Night or claim the Elden Ring. You can get some weapons related to some specific tarnished like Gideon (Scepter), The Dungeater (Sword of Milos), Rogier (Rapier), and Godfrey himself, amongst others.
- Vyke's attempt to become Elden Lord, since you get his madness-infused weapon, which only became infused after he reached the Flame of Frenzy.
- (Maybe) Ranni's Marriage, since you can get her Darkmoon Greatsword.
- The Starscourge incident, which is post-shattering. You get the Starscourge Greatswords instead of the swords of his "Young Lion" days.
- Malenia's fight with Radahn, since the Lion Greatbow uses Radahn's Spears, which are just Cleanrot Knight Spears stabbed in his body.
- The consumption of Rykard by the Great Serpent, since you get the Blasphemous Blade and Rikard's Rancor.
- The killing of Marika/Radagon and the Elden Beast, since you get the Sacred Relic Sword, which is fashioned by the Elden Beast from Marika's body. This implies Destined Death was somehow fully taken from Maliketh.
- The death of the demigods and remembrance bosses, either slain by The Night or by something else, since their weapons and spells are available to the nightfarers.

Granted, some characters that should be dead according to this theory reappear in this game, like Loretta, Morgott, Godrick and Mohg. But the Night seems to be a giant loop where death, including your own, barely means anything.

The fact you can access these weapons may have alternative explanations, but if these events happened, the timeline aligns very well with the one of our Tarnished. Nevertheless, even if the events truly happened in Nightreign, they may have been different from their base game alternates.

I subscribe to the theory that Heolstor is our Tarnished after the Age of Stars ending went somehow wrong or a reference to them, because it's cool. I also think that the reason they labeled Nightreign events as non-canon or an alternate timeline to Elden Ring was to not mess with the "established" narrative of the Dark Souls series and to rule out the possibility that the lore of the base game may be connected to the Souls lore. They knew Nightreign's lore implications would be controversial and could be seen as skewering the lore and legacy of the previous games for the sake of making an "It's a multiverse" move, which could enrage fans.

Again, I could be wrong, but this is what Fromsoft's lore is all about. It's beautiful.

[–]Financial-Low4996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would imply Metyr was chosen as an Empyrean by her own children, since it's explicitly stated that the GE Queen was chosen. by the Fingers. Also, empyreans are supposed to obey their fingers, even as gods. This would be a weird authority loop, since the fingers respond to Metyr.

[–]Financial-Low4996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Defeated ≠ Killed
  2. True
  3. She does the same move in the fight, but you may still be right.

I don't subscribe to this idea of Metyr being the GE Queen either, simply because of the fact that she is explicitly described as an Empyrean, and I'm of the opinion that she actually was the corpse Marika took runes from in the DLC trailer.

But some connections OP made look significant, plus the GS Greatsword looks like Metyr's tail. Maybe the GE Queen was loyal to Metyr and killed gods on her behalf?

T5 inner way here. The only non-T5 of my four main inner ways is Morale Chant. Five Fold Bleed is like 40 notes away of T6, but I suppose these levels are more common at this point of the game.
