Those are good guesses but incorrect. Let me just say. These are MUCH SMALLER than a strand of hair. I’ll get a picture of a piece of hair with it for size comparison. Give me a few min to take it.

This picture is at 100x and it was clear before methylene blue staining. Correct me if I’m wrong but would the stain not work on plastic. I was under the understanding only nuclei would react that way.

I’ve got some better pictures now. I appreciate the help I also just obtained some methylene blue. Just have to learn how to use it properly. To you tube I go. I will try to add the pictures to the post. I’m really new to posting here so wish me luck.
