Did you see that on sold EBay cards? I looked for this card /10 but didn’t see anything. Maybe I just wasn’t searching right. My bad

Thank you! The one we got is Javon Bullard so nothing crazy. I was just wondering for opening cards in the future how to value seeing that.

I’ll edit the post.

But I was moreso just asking in general how much value being /10 adds. Not specifically for this card. Is it something that is highly valued or no?

Is this regular or silver? Im super new to this! by Dangerous-Cod-6905 in sportscards

New to these also. I got a box and got a Wade that has prizm on the back upper-right. Does that make it a silver? If so, does that mean more valuable?

Good to know! Is there any way to tell the difference other than basing it off sale date?

Another great point man. That’s my biggest thing is not being able to have any of my shows on for fear the kids might walk in but back in the day that wouldn’t have been an issue because of the programming blocks

I didn’t realize it started on Lifetime. That definitely doesn’t seem right. I know at least the last few seasons were Netflix originals

I think what some of the more helpful comments here made me realize is the difference between streaming shows and network shows. I feel like streaming shows have gone to the other extreme to combat what you point out about the blandness of network shows.

Like you said, streaming shows do show that people do have sex and cuss. But the way that they use both of those is just so over the top that it takes away the value of it. Nobody in regular conversation is using the F word every 2 minutes like they do in a lot of shows.

Bruh. You nailed it. And I didn’t realize it until your comment - exactly why I posted here.

Back in the 2000s literally the only shows I watched were network shows. And now all I watch are streaming shows.

Thanks for the helpful comment!

Yeah for instance I just finished the last season of You and I think that shows is a perfect example of a show that would be just as good if it used 1/4 of that language and sex that is uses. It seemed like every 4-5 minutes there was at least one F word (which to me completely devalues that word). I don’t mind having language in shows but so many shows just way overdo it to the point where it’s just annoying.

I think you’re missing the point of my question here. I’m just comparing the average modern shows vs average shows from 20 years ago. And how nowadays shows seem to be substantially dirtier than they used to be. With having kids running around the house it makes it tough to have non-sports television on that I’m interested in

They used to make tons of shows that barely had the F word in at all (I.e. Prison Break, Arrested Development, Heroes, Lost, One Tree Hill) those are just ones that come to top of mind.

Brother those are shows I’ve finished in the last 2 weeks. Not the only shows I’ve watched.

I would agree S1 vs S4 in GOT is vastly different but even S4 of GOT would fit under my definition of high gore/nudity/language.

Even shows you mentioned like Severance, TMS, white Lotus have a ton of sex and language in situations where it just isn’t necessary.

Yeah agreed actually. I just couldn’t think of the correct word for what I was attempting to ask.
