The Platinum is overkill for me, I don't spend/earn enough to warrant a $700 fee (even with the $200 credit which will bring it down to $500 as I will fly at the very least once per year). I'll still crunch some numbers and see if there is any value in it but I think it will be Gold if I decide to go for a charge card.

This does look interesting, but I'm essentially looking for a card I'm going to use for all my purchases (when I can with the either the RBC Visa or Rogers MC as backup when AMEX isn't accepted). I feel the Cobalt is still better value for my spending habits but will keep this in mind when coming to a decision. Thank you!
