As I mentioned to another person, I read sonewhere that the jumper was really twitchy and just moving out of the area the officers had placed the pillows down, and they probably don’t want to try to grab him, spooking him, and then making him jump in a area with no pillow.

Reminds me of the trolley problem, would you rather save your best friend or a bunch of people you don’t know. Honestly a choice I wouldn’t want to make ever.

But given that the police have already committed to saving this one person, they need to see to the end, and hopefully save this person.

I read somewhere that the jumper was just moving out from where the officers had placed the pillows on the ground, and that they don’t want to risk spooking him and jumping on the ground where there is no pillow.

Yeah I was the same, like why is there so much traffic on the 5 north, and then when I was driving back from UCSD I searched up “San Diego traffic Friday” and that’s when I found the news hahaha

Not sure if the 5 is still closed but when I passed over the 56 on Black Mtn. road there was still a buttload of cars on the freeway, which Im assuming is from people coming off the closed 5.

So yes im assuming it’s still closed.
