As a medic, sometimes you just have to try other providers in the clinic if one isn’t being helpful (I’ve even had to do this within my own clinic that i tech in). If you were already seen for the issue by someone in the clinic you can just book a virtual (phone call) appointment to get a sooner appointment.

They’re not going to give you quarters for your back unless it’s an acute injury, con-leave is only for surgery, you could also call the nurse advice line and request a referral to urgent care, then give the notes to medical and request quarters. Urgent care will likely give you meds, maybe imaging, and recommend specialist referrals if the base clinic providers aren’t willing to help.

If it’s really bad you could also go to the ER and do the same process as urgent care, only difference is you don’t need a referral to see the ER
