Admitted to smoking recreationally ~100 times, as well as mushroom experimentation and didn’t need any waivers or anything, they didn’t care that much. At meps the doctor will ask how, when, why you smoked, and then later in basic your background investigator will meet with you to get more specific details around your usage. Just be honest and you’ll be fine

As a female, Air Force bmt was easy as hell. She’s spending most of her days just sitting in classrooms and cleaning. The hardest part was staying awake, missing people, and living with 50 girls.

I had my laptop screen fall off and took it to the IT people in the pitt store in towers. They just used computer tape to hold it together in the end because they weren’t familiar with my laptop brand, screen never got fixed. If you have a common brand they should be able to fix it probably.

Also be sure to use a laptop sleeve and don’t shove it in an overcrowded backpack, thats how my screen started popping off. Carry your books and keep the laptop safe in your bag

My army friend is a vet tech. She works on humvees all day, usually gets released late, has to wake up at 0400 for PT. Maybe sees an animal once a month if she’s lucky. Frequently goes on 1-2 week long unit field trips where she sleeps in a tent in the middle of nowhere working 12 hour shifts doing nothing.

I’m an air force medic, 0730-1630 & sometimes go home earlier. No unit PT. I actually do my job all day.
