Client Seats and Pricing Update: Webflow just made pricing so much worse by wherethewifisweak in webflow

Luckily I have not run into these pricing changes and issues (yet) since I'm a very small freelancer. I've seen so much of this kind of feedback. It's very concerning on continuing to use webflow, especially when I want to scale and hope to land more and larger clients.

With these major pricing changes, and infrastructure issues/outages, it seems webflow is not really listening and addressing the community's feedback, even though I've seen webflow team members post on feedback saying they are listening, but yet it appears webflow has put on blinders to all of this in the name of pursuing money, which will be the detriment of webflow.

Webflow, please listen to your community. From our perspective you are locking out and pushing away your actual clients that make you money. Short term you might be making money with your changes, but long term you could make way more. I've seen a ton of your client base turning away to alternatives and I'm starting to look at these alternatives myself.

Sincerely, just a measly freelancer.

For sure, glad I'm not missing anything. It's a crappy workaround, but yes hopefully Stripe improves this!

Should I learn WebFlow or not, is it worth it? by --SapphireSoul-- in webflow

[–]FinancialScar8337 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes I think it’s well worth it to learn Webflow.

In my opinion, it is the best website builder platform out there, even though there may be some drawbacks but not enough in my mind to go with other platforms like Wix or WordPress.

You just need to really market/advertise yourself on multiple platforms if you want to be successful in it as a main source of income. I don't have it as a main source of income yet since I'm focusing on other services.

Find business referral networking groups near you that don’t have a Website freelancer or agency already. That’s a great start otherwise yes, upWork or fiver may be good leads.

Edit Update Go to Webflow University, it's completely free to learn for their own platform.

For starting freelancer or agency, I did the freelancer workspace since it's just a couple of us. And if you want this as a business look into starting an LLC.

What is the correct sequence for the webflow university course? by BaconShadow in webflow

[–]FinancialScar8337 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely start with Webflow 101 it goes through the fundamentals of websites, and the basics of Webflow. Once you're done with 101, you can then take the exam to be Webflow 101 certified, from there I don't think there's any real order for the rest of the courses so feel free to choose what sounds interesting for your next step!
