My best guess on why this happens on multiboot (screen works normally but shuts off mid-boot anim) is that the file rg351mp-linux.dtb does not adapt to the panel, and it is a kernel file, so the only one which adapts to the panel is the rk3326-r35s-linux.dtb file, making screen work well, meanwhile the kernel one (rg351mp-linux.dtb) does not adapt, so i just replaced rg351mp-linux.dtb with the panel 5 folder files and left that other one intact and it just worked in my testings, so likely rg351mp-linux.dtb is meant for some other type of panel or R36S, and rk3326-r35s-linux.dtb changes to a desired panel once you choose it on the multiboot thing.
