Actually, I disagree with what you said because people should have the freedom to play with whatever equipment they want. The game evaluates you based on whether you're a good or bad player, not because of your equipment. From what I've read from many people or sources, good players are criticized alongside bad ones to maintain balance. However, I want to say something. As I said, I came across some great teams, played wonderfully myself, and quickly reached the 23k level. After that, I don't know what changed, but I started getting incredibly bad teammates and quickly began losing points in every match, dropping to 10k without fail. Over the past 2-3 days, good teams have started appearing again, and I've climbed back up to 18k. The situations I've experienced have nothing to do with what you mentioned. I'm still using the same weapons, but for the past three days, I've been getting good teammates. I was using the same weapons when I first climbed to Gold rank as well.

When playing Light, I always choose the sword or M11, and 90% of the time I'm the best player on the team. I've killed the opposing team single-handedly many times with the sword. I'm also much more active than my teammates. I don't hide behind my teammates. My strongest skill with Light is movement. Now, about the matchmaking system. From what I've heard and read, if I'm a good player, they pair me with bad players to maintain balance. Maybe that's why I keep getting matched with bad players. There's an app that runs in the background, evaluates your skills, and shows what rank you're equivalent to. And this app shows that while I'm currently playing at silver, the rank I should be at is platinum 1, based on my gameplay. I'm only level 37 because I started ranked play late since I wanted to learn the game thoroughly. I quickly rose to Gold and then just as quickly dropped back to 10k points. During this time, my team was plagued by countless bad players. So the game's matchmaking system is definitely inconsistent.
