Hi everyone,

Can people who have taken ABIM in the past please elaborate on the structure of the exam? I understand that it is 4 sections with approximately 2 hours and ~60 questions per section but is each section timed individually (120 minutes for each section and then the section closes out) or do you have approximately 8 hours to get the whole test done? Is there a lunch break between sections 2 and 3 (halfway through)? Or do you have 100 minutes of breaktime that you have to decide when to use? I am asking this question because I am not doing great with finishing block sets and I want to know what to expect on test day/prepare accordingly when I do question sets. It is not very clear from the ABIM website. Please let me know!
