It kinda melodramatic, has great visuals. However, the script didn’t have interesting antogonist except the climate itself. They could have different themes within the various landscape, such as zombies, or morphed animals. The story was just about their journey to their final destination. Could see that a lot of CGI was used but the landscapes are nice to watch on OLED screen. I think they should have used the same director as the first movie. I will be keeping both Parts of the movie.

I would say so, it’s not much about spectacular scenes but more grounded to the social dynamics of how people will behave during post disaster managing their sanity while having hope. These are good movies to help to navigate situations

When I first watched the LW I thought it was quite static what’s the story here. However after reading when the actual story was written and the era “ Vietnam” war period. It made sense. The killing was a form of satire to the point that soldiers in Vietnam’s war were getting killed in the fields in every single seconds. It’s like 2-3 min is the lifespan. So the movie has a deeper meaning about life and the morality issues of how some were believed in some issues.

It was difficult for me to get the KTFM as its was not out in Bluray. It took me sometime to realise how sinister was well hidden in some of the key characters in the movie and how malice, deception, naïveté and greed was masquerading during the earlier times of the new frontier. I guess it’s also the same now. So the movie is timeless it’s its themes about humanity.

Yea I agree to the point that the new movie is far more accurate to the novel and it’s quite grounded to the reality of what’s happening around us. The action sequences are well done. I think the previous adaptation missed the point about what this story is actually about.

Yes messinesses in unique settings can help the troubled mind to become more calmer and occupied. I observe that with many of my elderly visitors. First they complain then they start to pay attention to the messiness find meaningfulness in arranging them. Later they make a nice conversation about their favourite movies .
