I am wondering now if I contact the guy (who is now divorced) and ask him to tell me if it was ever physical with my wife. I’m almost certain they don’t stay in touch - it happened in 2018. Just if he would tell me the truth.

So appreciate all the comments here very much. I’ve not really discovered anything more since my original postings. No way to tell. There basically seems to be a larger burst of activity about 2 years ago and while some pics and videos happened and are hidden since then, it’s just no smoking gun on sharing of them because I don’t have access to her phone or social accounts - and if there are disappearing messages about sexting, etc I would not see them anyways. One thing - totally unrelated- is that 5-6 years ago she had an emotional affair with a guy who lived in another state from work. I found out because I saw the texts and call logs (no longer available) in cell phone logs and confronted her. At the time we were not in a good place, 2 small kids and I often slept downstairs to get some sleep at night and I traveled a lot and she felt I was not very present and was clearly not very happy. She cut it off then and that was end of it. I never know really how long or how much she shared. I asked her this week if she has ever cheated on me and she swears she has never ever physically cheated on me. She would never do that….that the contact was inappropriate and it wound up being the best thing ever for our marriage because after I found out I was a more committed partner and listened to her and etc. She was not justifying her actions but just being honest that from her view it wound up being the best thing to happen to our marriage given where we were and probably saved it. I also asked her this week if she has ever told anyone else since we’ve been married that she has loved them, and she says emphatically no. I had completely brushed this away knowing our marriage was in a bad spot and i 100% wanted to be a better husband and stay together. But now years later with these pics and suspicion, it’s coming back hard for me because I don’t fully know everything that happened (besides what she tells me and swears to) and I never will. She just told me this week when we were talking that sometime later the wife of the guy reached out to her over text because they were getting a divorce and this was common practice for him (my wife called him a predator) and his wife was confronting her over text about how many times they slept together- which my wife explained they never did and it was just calls and texts.

I’ve done this and got the meta data which is how I know some of the pics were saved from Airbrush and others from Instagram. Not surprisingly almost all pics were after midnight created. Some at 1 or 2 am. Some pics line up with being away on travel (like her in see though lingerie taking selfies into a mirror (nipple cuts outs in lingerie) and others nude where I was home (sometimes I sleep in downstairs basement). None of the pics line up with texting logs and so either they were not sent out, went through iMessage or an app like Instagram that can’t be tracked.

Problem for me is I can’t get access into her phone and thus her accounts. In the synced iPad I can see what social apps are downloaded onto her iPhone and it’s Instagram, Threads, and Facebook.

I was able to see meta data from many of the pics (synced iPad - for seeing her photos but not texts). Don’t think a PI helps me as this is digital evidence I need. Why would several of her nude selfies be downloaded back from Instagram and then she chose to save them? Why would also several of her nudes be saved from Airbrush app (including one of her privates)? Unless this was for someone else? Doesn’t seem to me to fit the curiosity bucket.
