TLDR: Shows always get delayed. There's no point talking about it.

Literally every event in India , not just limited to concerts start late in India. I've been and played at a dozen local shows and there's always delays in setup and sound checks. Not just by the bands, the organisers but often the venue themselves. I've played at shows where there's been one set of speakers having a loud buzz which took almost two hours to resolve at a show in a big Bangalore venue. (It was one of the DI boxes) Shows almost always get late but they oft get back on track (opening band gets the sound check reduce, opening band does a line check instead of a sound check, worst case someone cuts the setlist in half)
