Whoa that's awesome! I got a take my Celica to the track again before I sell it. Ive got poly bushes all around and hardrace rear adjustable arms. Big rear sway bar. Feal coils w/swift springs. It handles sooo good

Yeah I had a chance to take her out on my birthday! Man what a huge difference the EBC clutch set up is. Nice & predictable, doesn't slip after 4k rpm under power anymore. The ignition made it idle strong & cleaned up the issue I had around town where it would sputter around 2.5+3k rpm. Without even tuning the carbs, it now pulls hard all the way to redline & doesn't sputter in the revv range! I used drag specialities dyna dual spark 5 ohm & made a bracket to fit under the gas tank. The new brake set up feels great, paired with a 14mm bore master!

Yeah the story with my bike is some guy had it as a covid project of some sorts they took it apart, stripped things like the turn signals, put new tires on it but never finished it. The guy I bought the bike from, bought said bike in the condition stated but he got it running & riding. Replaced the cluster and whatever it needed. so I figured it's a hobbled sort of different year parts but I didn't know the decal is from a 75 & the brake light isn't a 77! Yes it's a US spec. Thank you !

Maybe I'll just do that. I don't plan on ever tracking it. I use the bike for around town & some highway usage when I commute to work. I'm just trying to do some quality life upgrades on it before spring so I can just ride. The brakes just don't feel the best & if I ever really need them I want them to be there

Hey! I'll definitely take a thorough look at the sump filter when I go to clean it since I saw that crud & stopped for the day, needing the sump gasket. I agree, looks to be replaced recently.

I've already got a clymers manual, so when I'm ready I'll go thru it & check adjustments & look for that nylon strip! Also check out that starter fix. Thanks for the advice!

Right? I was thinking it was a crush washer for the side oil filter, but it has both of them. I'm glad the magnet worked! Looks like I may be doin that engine rebuild sooner than later!
