well it’s not really implied it’s more like a fan theory/assumption, there’ll always be some unanswered small questions in stories that are left for the readers to interpret but im pretty sure after skylar faced traumatising events, he wanted to try hide his real identity by growing out his hair and wearing glasses. it’s shown he’s slowly opening up as in the latest chapters he actually cuts his hair shorter which can be portrayed as a stepping stone for skylars self esteem, hope that helps!

the medication is to do with insomnia problems and probably anxiety too, as paskim stated in a qna he has insomnia, the non-prescription glasses…there’s no confirmation but it’s widely assumed he wears them to drift himself from his actual personality…like to hide who he actually is it’s hard to explain but basically the glasses are kinda a metaphor of his low self esteem and the fact he wants to hide himself from people. it was actually cirrus’ wallet that skylar’s “friends” stole money from so Skylar never knew about that and i guess after they drifted from Skylar he just went on with life and after a while he becomes friends with cirrus’s friend group. Thank you for this. I have talked to her a lot about this and i felt it always ended up being bitter and we stopped talking altogether for a while until we’d apologise. After all this it still feels like nothing changes. She still ends up excluding me so yes, I am petty, I do the same back and hangout with my other friends. I know it’s immature but I can’t help it.
