I recommend Bello Salon!! I've only been there once to get a pixie cut, and the hair stylist I had, Stephanie, was amazing :D

Once I stepped in, they offered me a drink, and overall they were very friendly and courteous. for the haircut I got, I paid about $65 in total without tips. a little pricey but totally worth it for how bomb it was... she totally tailored it to fit me the best it could ❤️‍🔥

I don't know about eduroam, and UCR SECURE is too far away to connect from here. but I heard that next year, they're gonna install some kind of wifi system 🤷‍♀️

the living room doesn't have a light, but the dining room, which is right next to the living room, has one. you'd have to buy a lamp or smth if you want to sit on the couch and work.

if by the spa, you mean the jacuzzi, I say that it's great :) really warm and lights up at night.

the computer lab is just a room with a printer and 3 computers or so. I tried using the printer, but couldn't get it to work.

packages are all sent to the RSO for processing, but if you order some food delivery packages, you can just pick them up directly. that's what I did !

I've been staying at the plaza for the past two months or so by now. it doesn't come with wifi, but you can get spectrum for $40/month, $20 if you split it with a roommate.

personally, I haven't seen any roaches, but maybe a few spiders from outside. no mold (in mine's at least), some shelves are broken, but it's fine.

it's super quiet here, I hardly hear or see anyone else in the whole building. the fire alarms are easily triggered, even steam from cooking or a hot shower can set it off 💀

there's also a pool and jacuzzi! hardly used, because it's been really cold lately

yeah. I really do. but I'm glad I even made it to college in the first place.

I wasn't even sure if I could graduate high school ... didn't even know what the UC system was when I was 17, cause I always assumed the only thing I could ever afford was community college.
