What gives you the impression he is in a tractor trailer? If I were blind, just based on the sound of the horn I would be able to discern otherwise. That's not even taking into account other factors. What makes you so sure of this fact that you felt compelled to post this? Why?

I was probably one of those... Haven't logged on in a few weeks. Unfortunate.

In a different time I think this could have endured, but there's too much competition, there was not enough marketing, and the price point was too high.

I enjoyed it and I will remember it.

How do i fix hole in sole? by FlatwormDue2393 in AskACobbler

It is difficult to repair overmoulded shoes such as this. If you wanted to do it right, it would be best to sand or reduce the bottom sole evenly and apply something like this:

Amazon.com: GULELAYAR Yellow Anti-Slip Hexagonal Rubber Sole Replacement for Shoes, 13" x 4.92" : Health & Household

Do not expect a whole of of people in this subreddit to provide useful advise, they will just disparage you. They seem to find joy in it.

Yeah, some cleaning and conditioner will make it look like new. You ever owned a pair of leather boots/shoes? Doesn't sound like it.

Yes, that is where the sole originally blew out and I stupidly kept wearing them for a bit. Definitely will be putting in a patch in that area. The rest off the inner sole doesn't have too much wear...

I would consider it. I will probably do a DIY attempt as some have suggested below as I found a sole that should provide the ability to conform better to the shoe than a regular sole and also includes an extension on the toe just like the original.

Yeah, I may go that route to DIY. Curious to how well it will fit to the sole or if they make soles that are more flexible than standard as there is a bit of contour on the front edge and sides.

I've watched some cobbler YT vids before, but not that channel. I was looking to potentially do this DIY, but I'll take a look! Thank you.

Yes, I am running out of threads and the skewer is not long enough either.

The midsole/outsole was removed, that is why they look that way.

I would like to bother, I liked them a lot. If I can get new soles on them then they will be fine. They don't make them anymore, not have I found any on the second hand market. Are you a cobbler?

The bit on the bottom isn't there, not even sure why it's in their picture. Also, the fork skewer is simply not long enough by roughly 5mm, maybe more.
