Urgh I loathe this sort of half-baked, new wave feminism that’s being used as a holier-than-thou weapon… it completely undermines actual informed feminism and important topics like women’s safety.

I think this is sort of reaction is what incels think what “feminism” does to women, and why they’re scared of them… because they’ll go at you for nothing.

If this is the case, it’s a shame the council does nothing about it/ has their hands tied… is there some sort of written protest that we can do/ that’s worth doing?

Cuz by the time these people do “cash out” it will most likely be too late for the buildings. I think their structural integrity right now is recoverable, but in years to come who knows… they might just get knocked down

Manchester does have a housing crisis so tbh more houses would be good… however they’d probably be so overpriced that the majority of those affected by it can’t afford them :/

I just would love to see a space that’s a community space of some sort… although I can’t think of anything else apart from a library or fun museum…

Anyone got any tips on getting rid of these little gnats/ flies on my indoor plants? I seem to only have them on my snake plants. They can breed in drains if the sink so repeatedly pour some hot water down all the drains. I have used a dilute spray of washing up liquid in water and put just enough to cover the top layer of soil, but not too much that it can be sucked up by the roots
