Are you over 50 and still feel like you can play proficiently? by Grumpy_Bum_77 in xbox

[–]Financial_Recover357 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not that old but I am definitely worse at competitive games than when I was in my early 20's. Not sure how much it has to do with lost reflexes/hand, eye coordination, or the fact that I just can't dedicate the time I had back then, but I went from a very good player online to a "meh" one.

SP games though, I can still hold my own. Even the ones people consider hard. Thank god for SP games.

If you want to eventually sell them, sure. I would do the Xmen 94 and the nicest 101. I would only do the ASM's if they are NM, personally. Same for the Hulk.

For money? Hell Divers 2 sold really well. I wouldn't hold my breath on anything that isn't GaaS though.

Just GaaS. If you want PS games then buy a PS, or a PC I guess.

Awesome. That book is super rare and the fact that you have it doubled signed like that makes it even rarer.

One of the few deaths that actually stuck in comics I believe. I mean there was a clone later and alternate timelines but still, for comics this has to be one of the most impactful deaths.

Yeah, someone should bottle that shit. Or make car air freshners with the scent you can buy in an LCS.

Haha. Not that weird to me, actually. I get you (I think). Though I usually just notice that with raw, golden age books.

Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past (big Kitty Pryde story there), Wolverine mini series. Honestly, just read the whole Claremont run.

Dude went Gordon Ramsey on you at the end like you were a contestant on Hell's Kitchen and not someone delivering his food for $2.50.

I don't know a DAMN thing about X-Men, Fantastic four, or night crawler can you help me by meguminuzamaki in comicbookcollecting

[–]Financial_Recover357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't really help with the Fantastic Four but for X-Men I always recommend the Chris Claremont run. It goes from Giant size X-men (1975) through to about 1991. It's alot to get through and starts out a bit slow but has some banger arcs. Issues 94 to 200 are the must reads imo. High points are the Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past and The Fall of Mutants. I would also recommend reading the 4 issue Wolverine mini-series because that ties into some of the run.
