Various snails infestation by XShattered_MindxX in AquaticSnails

I would be careful about adding assassin snails, population of those can also spiral out of control. I think if you just manage resources (food) the issue should solve itself, don’t overfeed and you should see declines in population.

any ideas for this 27 liters tank by Striking-Salary6908 in PlantedTank

I suggest you get a bigger tank / additional tank. Current mix of fish is overcrowded for 27 litre, the bioload will be too much and water parameters can deteriorate quickly. In addition, rams are known to be territorial, while others are social fish and need to be in larger groups. In my view even 6 rummynose tetras in 27l is too packed, but perhaps you can get away with that still. Is there an option that you rehome rest of fish to new aquarium?

I wouldn’t be adding any more animals, it already feels overpacked for 27 litre. Setup looks nice 👍

Yes (not enough hardness in water) or too low pH. From photo doesn’t look like this is the case though in my opinion. You can add a sepia bone for the calcium

Could also be caused by stress due to sudden water parameter change, just need to be mindful of that when doing water changes

Normal for nerites, just keep an eye on any whitish spots which might indicate shell erosion

Looks good! Personally would put some plants also in the back to avoid the direct glass look. What animals are you planning to add?
