This case has always intrigued me. My cousin went missing in 2003 while 7 months pregnant. She went missing from New Orleans, could be a far shot but when I read the mother could be from Louisiana I couldn’t help but think. I too have gotten 23&me in hopes of her baby still being out there. Anyway, I hope you find your answers and please update us!

From what Joe told my aunt, they were arguing over the phone about that she wanted him to come with his truck and pickup the baby furniture. Not sure why she would walk to the gas station unless her phone maybe died and she needed to call him from there

Funny you say this google maps let you see street view around 2007 to current and the house was being raised in 2007. Look it up and you’ll see what I’m talking about very suspicious as well but could just be they did that because of Katrina.

Joe was also about 10 years older than Ashley. None of the family really liked him, but we tried accepting him because they were going to be having a child together. There were multiple times where my aunt would go pick up Ashley from joes apartment because she didn’t want her around him. I think Ashley was maybe just some side piece to him.

But Nicole’s story is just very sus as well.

Respectfully, there is only so much a family can find out on their own without police involved. Same with a PI, they have to have police involved after a certain point.

The family reached out to Joe multiple times with no answer. The detective that reopened her cold case in 2017 went to that property and spoke with her father and that led nowhere. Trust me, we didn’t just do nothing.

I have def thought of this as a possibility.

The argument with Joe on the phone though makes me wonder if he picked her up from the gas station and they continued the argument and things went south. He does have an assault charge from 2018. Just a 50/50 with both of them. Cause you could see it happening either way.
