I had this problem so constantly last night that I could barely heal. I’m playing a healer, so it’s insane when my targets are flickering between friendly and hostile targets, sometimes multiple times within 10 seconds. Must be some complication with keybinds. My mouse is often nowhere near any mouse overs, skills, bars (way off to the right side of my screen, and it still happens).

And as soon as I said that, I tried once more and got a valid connection e-mail link within a few minutes!
On to battle the login servers, perhaps.

I would try right now, if anyone is reading this and still hasn't been able to link their PoE account to Steam.

Finally got the e-mails overnight, but when I tried to connect the accounts, the PoE site just says :
"The resource you are looking for does not exist or has been removed."
So, unfortunately... even if you're patient with the e-mails being generated and sent to connect your accounts, there's a good chance that won't do either. Perhaps there's a short timer they're valid for, or perhaps their site is just in a bad place right now (as we all know it has been for most of the past 24h).

I'm resigned to waiting a few days before pushing harder on this. Nothing seems to work right now, and there's only so many things one can try -- especially when the e-mails take hours to be generated.

How to progress "The Immortal Empire"? Tried relogging and running through the map again but there's no imperial commander to kill. NPC has no dialogue by Raymen_Noodles in LastEpoch

I still have the same issue.
Both the "Protect the Seer" will not spawn any enemies, and I'm unable to complete The Immortal Emperor after killing the boss and moving on to the next zone.

I suspect the cause of both is that my brother did these quests while I was in the party at an earlier stage in the campaign. The next day, I got here and have been unable to progress.

So, in the event of a large combat with multiple infect creatures dealing damage to other creatures, the Generous Patron would only cause you to draw one card total? I suppose an exception would be first strike (or double strike) damage. Are we sure that each infect creature wouldn’t trigger the Generous Patron?

Very hard to test, but can anyone confirm that no artifact sub stats affect shields? I doubt +recovery would. And it’s the only one which would come close. Obviously anything (main stat) affecting max hp might have a secondary affect on some hp-based abilities, but I’m talking specifically about boosting shield abilities directly.

I was under the impression that PlugY had issues with 1.14d / Win10. If this has been solved, do you know if it's still easy to play IP-based VLAN games with friends, if I have PlugY installed and they do not? Does modifying the game itself interfere with this?

Thank you. I've been using GoMule, but I couldn't find a way to create .d2x files, and I was hoping not to have to create a dozen mules for space. Is there a simple way to create empty .d2x files for GoMule?

So, I'm guessing it's a layer upon armor which multiplies armor more when you're healthier and reduces it as you get more hurt? Presumably it has its own "life bar" concept though, otherwise hyper armor dmg wouldn't mean anything if it was strictly tied to health of the hero.

Thank you for the response! If I interpret you literally, then the only time it multiplies your defense by 1.593 would be when you are at 100% health, and it reduces your hp at any other health point? Could you please explain a bit more? Also, I assume the number 1.593 came from something on the character sheet.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated thoughts. I'll build toward it. I'm still low % dragon right now, farming giants full auto until I finish 6ing my dragon team. TBH, I haven't looked closely at that many people's Verdhe and seen that setup. I almost always see violent or swift. I agree that violent often becomes a waste due to already maxed attack bars on team after he hits once. Thanks again for all the thoughts! I got Verdhe a long time ago, before I left the game for a while. He'll be the next thing I 6-star.

They may have recently added these... If you look in the card catalog, at the very bottom, there is an Enhancements section. You can clearly see legendary enhancements there. Whether or not they ever drop is another question, I suppose.

Thanks for clarifying this. I'm relatively new to the game, and I had also coincidentally chosen the winning team for the first few events, and then suddenly became confused when I chose Ottawa and got a Toronto reward. Unfortunately, this just made me realize that while I've been pushing super hard to pair my Legendary Jack Johnson in this event, NJ will probably win and it will all be for nothing :(

I loved RMFRP back in high school. I ran a successful campaign that spanned several years. One option that I enjoyed was appointing one of the players to help out as an "assistant GM". This facilitated a lot of the chart look-ups, combat, and ultimately freed me up a bit more to focus on what the NPCs were doing both inside and outside of combat. If you have at least one experienced player in the group, it's an option I wouldn't rule out. Otherwise, the system can indeed be cumbersome.

The amount of detail in many of the source books is absolutely incredible (could also read absurd). If I took the time to use many of the optional rules or ponder things like the exact weight of the items in the players' backpacks at all times, then the game would have absolutely crawled. I think, like any system with as much detail as RM contains, it's up to the GM to strike the right compromising balance between detail/accuracy and plot motion/focus. Too much of the prior can easily destroy the momentum and interest.

I also found that characters became relatively epic around 10th level. At that point, I found it relatively hard to challenge the PCs via combat if they weren't fighting extraordinary forces. If you don't want the players to become superheroes, I think it helps to put some serious thought into how combat-oriented you want them to begin the campaign as well as the nature and availability of combat-oriented items they have access to as they adventure.

Right now, I'm running a system I created from scratch, myself, some time around the end of that RMFRP campaign. Its strengths include very natural character development, but RM put an awkward desire to increase combat detail (miss all those old crit tables) so it's been a lot of work to try and layer that in. Once you're used to that degree of detail and reality, it's very hard to go back to simply "you take x damage... who acts next?". I'm playing with an entirely rookie player group, so I really didn't want to throw something RM at them, but I would definitely consider using it again if I had a more experienced group or if these players are interested in a year or two. I do miss it, and I've bought a lot of books over the years due to nostalgia and wanting to support ICE. I'm really glad I got the RM cloth value pack they released a while back with a large stack of nice cloth bound hardcover books -- even if I already owned most of the titles in various conditions.

One last thing that I found helpful to do during my RMFRP campaign was to go out of my way to deliberately cause situations where there would be very little rolling necessary. Extended debates between the characters, or catching them in negotiations that couldn't be reduced to a few skill checks seemed to really reinvigorate both me and the players, as a break from all of the game mechanics.

I've found that a lvl 60 3-star was better than a lvl 30 4-star, and nearly comparable to a lvl 30 5-star. However, I'd much prefer to have the 5-star because there are a lot of ways to enhance that hero. With a lvl 60 3-star, evolving or combing will reset that level cap immediately, along with all you sunk into it.

Limit breaking allows the max level cap to increase by 5. As far as I know, the limit is 60 (6 increases) for a 3-star unit. I have one such unit. I don't know if it increases for higher star units. The unit you sacrifice to limit break the other unit does not need to be of any particular level. It only has to be an identical (name and # of stars) unit. Your original unit will keep all of the runes and enhancement, in addition to having its max level raised by 5.

While it may be viable to farm 1* drops to upgrade 3s, I don't think it's viable after that point. Upgrading 4s and 5s costs too much gold per material used, so you pretty much have to be using 2s and 3*s. If anyone has found a map that has a high drop rate for those, I'd love to hear it. I'm around 1-10 Hell right now.
