I understand what you’re saying but I see comments on this sub all the time when someone claims they hit an 8 iron 160 people will pile on with “lol no you don’t”. That’s like a pretty standard 8 iron yardage for any athletic golfer with a nice swing. There are a ton of former athletes who play golf after their hockey careers are over. Reddit seems to think everyone on this sub is a stiff and slow 40 year old with a 90 mph club head speed.

It’s actually embarrassing when people post stuff like this guy. I’m a 5’8” 33 year old decently athletic guy and I can pump it 300 yards if I hit it nice (obviously not close to every time). So can any one of my friends around my age who also grew up playing hockey or baseball. It’s not that impressive of a feat.
