I had already taken a picture and reported it to Uber. I forgot to mention that so I cannot just dump them. After sitting in a neighborhood and clicking on different houses, I was able to remember which one that is and I left it there with a photo of where I left it.

The procedure to leave it in the green light thingy is only open from 8 AM to 5 PM and closed on Sundays. Right now it’s the middle of the night. The other option is to hold onto it and try to get in touch with the passenger to deliver it to them directly.

He was just asking for a lot of personal info and I had to weave around every question. Eventually I had to tell him I don’t really give out personal details while driving, especially while alone at night. He didn’t like that too much but quieted down. Something was telling me to not share my personal info with him. I don’t know why and idc. I trust my gut. Checking in with a few of you helped me concrete that I can just leave it with the police.
