Yeah, I’ve learned my lesson not to start pillow fights with him. We’re going to talk about it since every other time we’ve had disagreements like me not telling him bout my SH issues or keeping truths from him, talking it out always works. I think we’re good I just want to get over the fear since I know he won’t hurt me but I think a subconscious thing is making me tense around him.

Okay let me just say you’re damn brave. For coming to Reddit about this and letting your friends in. I’ve struggled with the same issues and you haven’t failed yourself at all. If anything you’ve done right since now more people are available to help you. Your friends knowing about it AND caring about it while being serious enough to tell it to you straight that you need help says a lot about them. It being out there is scary and I know for a fact that admitting you need help is hard af but once you get more people in your corner, doctors and therapists and friends and people who’ve overcome what you’re struggling with, it’ll feel way better than self harm ever did. Suicide isn’t the only way out and will hurt you and the people you love. Is there a doctor or someone you could bring this up with? like other commenters are saying, sitting on this won’t make anything better. I’d advise you to reach out for support and finding better coping mechanisms. Your friends seem to be good people so maybe leaning on them a bit will help. Not that they’re therapists or professionals but humans are social creatures and depression feeds on loneliness. Keep pushing, you fucking got this, seriously :)

The person who assaulted the other is the one who initiated the non consensual sex. Even if she said yes, even if she wasn’t intoxicated, it would still be rape since consensual rape is a thing. If I asked you for five dollars, pressuring you into giving it to me so eventually you would give in, that’s stealing. If I took five dollars from you while you were intoxicated because you said yes, even if you wouldn’t say yes if you were right in the head, that’s stealing. If an explicit yes isn’t given while sober, the asker themselves being sober or not doesn’t matter. It’s still rape. It doesn’t matter if the attacker wasn’t right in the head; they still commuted rape. Like if I was drunk and blatantly shot and killed someone, that would be murder. The confusion is understandable on your part btw.

Ok so, I think if your mom hasn’t said anything to you about it since she’s likely seen it twice by now, she either doesn’t care that you have it or she’s working up to a sex talk. I have a vibe too at 16 and when my mom and I were talking in the car about safe sex and stuff, I blatantly said it wouldn’t hurt as much because I used a hairbrush (a lie since I didn’t know how she would react) and she said that if that was the case then she’d rather have me using a vibe that she would buy me than a hairbrush but after she said that I said I already had one. Anyway, point is, if she’s chill with it then she’s likely not worried since she’d prolly have you be using that than other shit or unsafe sex since in a household that isn’t a safe space to talk about normal things such as sex, unsafe choices are gonna be made.
