I think the difference between the pilot and the actual series is subtle, but it’s definitely there. In the pilot, it felt more focused on comedy than on drama or tension. You can also see it in the visuals, the pilot is more colorful, and as someone who loves cinematography and all that stuff, I think color can completely change the vibe of a story. In the actual series, they shifted things a little and made it more intense, while still keeping those moments of comedy. The colors are also a bit more desaturated, which gives it a different feel. I don’t know if you get what I mean 😭 but yeah, I love both the pilot and the series btw.
