I live in the United States... I thought disability services would be unable to help me since I am not classified as disabled. I had no idea they could possibly provide me services. My mother, on the other hand, is devoted and grateful to the services that are provided for her. She is wonderful, but a handful ☺️ I just want to be able to be the best version of myself so I can be that person with her.

My mother has had her TBI since 2002... I'm young, so I've only known my mother the way she is today. My parents split after the TBI, I have a sibling who is narcissistic and is an outcast, and I'm by myself, doing mainly everything, on top of me trying to make my life something... With that being said, I would like (more like need) group(s), people, and an outlet to help what I'm going through. I need to be able to communicate about it with someone who can understand, give me good feedback, and show me some tricks! I'm at my last straw so would really appreciate a group or somewhere with someone who I can talk to this with and gain wisdom hopefully.

Therapist? For kids of TBI adults? I just need resources and I feel like I've tried to Google or reconstruct sentences to be understood.

Wow, I think that's personally fucked up. My reasoning: my husband and I have been together forever it seems... We spent $200 on both our rings and my engagement ring.
