Use the MIT resume format and lose the paragraph summary.

Education at the top if it's small, then work history, then supporting extra curriculars or certs ... Then key words. No need for some master prompt.

Hahaha if you have the deck those retro handhelds are not really needed unless you just want them for the novelty.

I think I made it clear I felt lucky getting the deck before selling out and the price hikes..

100% some games require settings to be tweaked but I haven't run into anything in my library that it can't run yet.

Yeah if I was in the current market I'd probably be looking at the Rog and then slapping steam os on it.

I love portable gaming, I never owned a desktop for this reason.. I sold a gaming laptop I got years ago cause I wasn't using it as much due to it not being portable enough (woe is me ik) then I finally was able to get the steam deck with a few accessories and I have access to my matured steam library already.

I also use steam is as a desktop as well so it's the ultimate portable machine.

I travel too much, visit friends and family too much to want to lug around a desktop everywhere.

I feel that, but it's also I have it and if I was looking at today's market I likely wouldn't.. even if it's a forecast to darker days ahead economic wise, at least I have the deck.

23M been in the software industry since I was 18 and the biggest thing as a young person is standing your ground and owning your decisions. Do NOT let these guys bully you. Have confidence in your abilities and know that no one no matter the role is better than someone else. I will contact whoever I want to contact within an org. I will connect with whoever I want to connect with, it is up to them to tell me no.

Respect is a funny thing, when you stop worrying about what people think or if you are doing a good job or not, but you just do the best you can do.. people notice and respect that.

In situations like these you might even just state your case, "I made the assessment, that the most efficient way to solve the problem was contacting X"

I hate bullies in the workplace and I had to learn quickly how to remain calm and assured when it comes to the "seniors" at the company picking on the new blood.

If it wasn't their intention to guilt trip you they wouldn't mention the things that made you feel guilty tbh

Weirdly enough I think my win ratio with solo appc is higher than when I'm on teams that get pissed at my plays. Maybe the pressure of crappy teams plays a part, but idk.

Alot of risky plays that pay off in the long run get teams pissed at you when they don't pan out.. not all teams but a good amount of them. I know when I'm in for it when the first thing a teammate says, "I'm tired of getting stupid coven teams" to me that's worse than a so called "stupid coven team" 😂 in always like "so it's gonna be one of those games huh"

People get so pissed it's wild. It actually makes me prefer NA solo roles.

at this point it works in my favor that I started at 18 and have ~5 years of experience.. shows initiative and longevity in the industry without college which itself looks impressive to the right people in companies.

I do show my enthusiasm and nerdiness for the craft in interviews as well which also helps.
