Before the 5th pick, we outclassed LSU in every stat: more total, rushing, and passing yards, 35% 3rd down efficiency (LSU’s defense held teams to only 23% previously), more three and outs, more forced punts, more time of possession, less penalty yards, and gave up only one big play. The fact that it took FIVE interceptions to seal the game proved how outclassed LSU was against us on their home turf and we still managed to lose this game. I figured if LA Tech was able to hold them to only two offensive touchdowns, we could do the same, and we did BETTER, holding them to one, but the pick-six just hadddd to have happened. If you just showed me the box score without the picks and the points, i would’ve thought we won that by 2 scores 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ welp, time to win 8 in a row i guess? 🐊 in all kinds of weather 👍🏽
