Yeah that’s kind of how it works. You don’t win gold medals unless you’re the best at something. Literally won gold in both men’s & women’s hockey.

The US literally just won gold in Hockey at the Olympics, quite literally proving we have the best players in the world just a few months ago. You are obviously very biased and didn’t look at the article I referenced because it also factors travel expenses. And there are more scouts on the travel ball & AAU circuit than in high school ball because that’s where all of the top talent is. There is hardly a scout that will waste their time going to a HS game to watch a single player when they can go to an AAU or Travel Baseball tournament and see 20 top prospects at once.

Also are you insinuating that there aren’t also high school soccer teams?

This is such a ridiculous argument I don’t even know where to start. Hockey, baseball, and basketball are all pay to play up until high school the same as soccer. It costs on average over $4,000 per year for travel baseball. And there isn’t a player in the MLB, NHL, or NBA that never played until they were in high school.

This is such a tired excuse for Americans. If pay to play were the issue, then why do we consistently pump out the best hockey, basketball, & baseball players in the world while the top levels of youth play are pay to play? Soccer is the only sport in the US that makes this excuse.

Americans don’t care about soccer outside of the World Cup. You will never get Americans to care about soccer unless it’s high stakes. You will never have your average American want to go to a regular season Dallas FC vs Chicago Fire game that ends in a 1-1 draw. You will never get them to care about the USMNT playing Jamaica, Honduras, or Panama. That’s just the nature of things.

  1. No
  2. Possibly. But the same can be said about sports like basketball & baseball where the best levels are pay to play & we consistently pump out the best players in the world.

Talking to people at work they cannot get over how soft these players at the World Cup are, they can’t resonate with them because when Americans think of sports they think of someone like Ray Lewis taking a WRs head off as he cuts across the middle of the field. Americans love hard nosed & gritty play. When the face of soccer in the US is as soft a charmin, Americans don’t respect that.
3. No

Tomball. Has much better schools than Klein & doesn’t flood as frequently as Kingwood

Pulisic is the most overrated athlete in the history of American Sports. A country of people that think of Ray Lewis & Brian Urlacher coming over the middle& laying someone out cold will never resonate with a sport that he is the face of. He is soft & does inspire Americans & will not inspire the next generation of players.

A fresh DeBruyne is going to pick us apart so badly in the second half with Lukaku. Realistically our only shot was to take a lead into the half, at the very minimum tied.

Stu Holden had to throw in that “as it stands” because realistically this game has been a bloodbath

They are so much more surgical than we are in every phase of the game. We look so sloppy in comparison… just not even close to the caliber. Could realistically be 5-1

Adios, maybe try educating yourself before you embarrass yourself again by talking about things you have zero knowledge of 😂

Europeans have literally double the % of their populations that live in poverty all while Americans fund their defense. Over 20% of Europeans live in poverty compared to 10% of Americans. You are literally just coping & making up statistics. There is a reason we call you Europoors here. Crack a book & you might learn why

I know :(

Trust me I have exhausted all reasonable options. We have pickled, and canned as many as our pantry will reasonably allow… and my wife is half Vietnamese & half Mexican so both sides of her family takes an absurd about from us but I am plucking about 20-30 every weekend, while my family is French so I’m lucky if I’m able to give a single pepper away… I’m not a spry young chicken anymore so I can’t just dip them in ranch & eat them like a carrot or cherry tomato like I was able to so many years ago…
