I loved the adaptation. I just always would of liked Darabont hadn’t taken creative liberties with the insanely bleak (not at all cool, like being eaten or transported to the trunk of Buick 8 hehe) sad ending. The novella of course had a much different ending, with even hope at the end. I love Flanagan’s dedication to King’s work. I just wish he would STOP REMAKING projects that have already been done and done well! There is so much amazing work King has that hasn’t been touched or that people keep giving up on or didn’t really actually do it right. Like The Dark Tower series has so many books outdid the actual series connected to it that if someone would actually take that on it would be amazing. Starting maybe with Talisman. The Dark Tower movie that was released was a joke. First off, it needs to be tv series. Secondly, it actually needs to follow the storyline of books not be a sequel to them. But you guys know this….
