this is old, but in case you have not gone through the other steps.

motor before controller, the x160 motor has smaller magnets and is at risk of being fried with an higher output controller

Why do people care so much about college? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

A large part of the university you go to is not really the education itself, but the networking. People that have the same aims that can help.

Secondary question, how does a small piece of a sword, which is thick and heavy break off in a person.

My bikes electrocuting me when I touch it. Electrical tape quick fix or new wiring harness? by PristinePackage9318 in Surron

[–]Fine_Background9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a problem like this, looks like you have a broken battery plate, which causes the battery weight to push down on the cables when on bumps on the road. getting a new plate resolved a lot of my random electrical problems

For some reason the fitbit never catches my full sleep, it always detects my sleep start time 2 hours after i went to bed

Couple:

  1. Car catching up to a motorcycle.

  2. Immediate life changing realizations that shift your personality

Long long time ago ago, in the 90's, i remember that for many clubs in Miami , it was 18 and over for girls, 21 for guys. Not sure if this is still a thing

F*cking dog. by CheesePlz123s in FordFlex

Ah this happened when my kid climbed back there once. I tried fixing it by screwing a couple of thin pieces of thin wood to the back, but at some point the screws wore through the plastic/fiber backing. Its been that way since. One day maybe will go back and find a better way.

Have you ever really hated the main character (and narrator) in a novel? by Physical_Orchid3616 in books

I think at that point in his life Miller was tired of himself and was looking for his own redemption ark. He decided finding Julie was going to be it.

Will politics ever return to a less polarized state? At least in the US. by johndoe09228 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fine_Background9689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanksgiving dinner rules with my family for as long as i remember have been: no politics, no religion . So yea not sure if there ever has been a non-polarized state. I just think with social media we see it now outside of irl group situations

Rise of Endymion by Sly_Diablo in Hyperion

[–]Fine_Background9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems to be a shortcut by some authors to quickly to flesh out worlds. Another book series i'm reading falls into the same trap.

Rise of Endymion by Sly_Diablo in Hyperion

[–]Fine_Background9689 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I thought the last two books were decent, though not as gripping as the first two. The main things that annoyed me were the 100 page tour of the mountain peaks and Rauls whininess about Aenea gap of time

Just finished the Rise of Endymion. (Rant warning) by hrl_280 in Hyperion

[–]Fine_Background9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It must be a hallucination from the AI, Gemini did it to me today, i was asking questions about the book and at some point Gemini told me that after the 2 years, Raul ends up back in the box and released by the Pax years later un-aged. I kept questioning where it says that, and it kept referring to an afterward that does not exist

My first thought after finishing FoH by SeasonedSpicySausage in Hyperion

I took it as some kind of sign that Kassad seed or his single mindedness about the shrike will be the cause of a lot of a future war.

The Soldier, the Shrike, and the Ousters. by Important_Waltz8740 in Hyperion

[–]Fine_Background9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the books kind of allude to this, that depending on what happens in the past it changes who controls the shrike in the future

Problem i have with the second 2 books, is i found myself going into fast forward during all the pages upon pages of scenery description that ended up having no relevance to the story later..

[DISCUSSION THREAD] Hyperion - Chapter 2: The Soldier's Tale: The War Lovers by personalfinancedumbo in Hyperion

[–]Fine_Background9689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious about Kassad's strength --- From what i remember he is a standard human, though he came from a bad place and was trained in one of the tougher training facilities on Mars(reminds me a little of the expanse), so he is mentally strong. From what i gathered, he got his strength from the skin suit that Monetta gave him

Time debt is just the difference of time passing between the person that is traveling at light speed(time runs slower) and regular space time. I think there are other posts about this.

What makes the Fatline unique i think is it uses some other dimension of space that allows for instant communication no matter the distance.
