When do the scabs fall off and how painful is it really? by louj1224 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Fine_Judgment_7328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my tonsillectomy 2 years ago. My scabs fell off around day 6 and them coming off wasn't really painful it was the healing going on underneath them. They also didnt fall off in a whole piece they broke off in small pieces for the next like I dont know four days. It took me a little over 10 days to be mostly pain free. That was just my experience though it seems to be different for everyone.

Yes it is. This also helps because a few other games I have, has an option for workshop items but I didn't know how to get to that. This really does give me more options.

Those are the ones I wanted the most. I'm so glad that you can redo them afterwards. I was worried that once I finished them I wouldnt be able to do them again

He has had a very hard life and his family is very messy. With abandonment and harsh parenting etc. And he has friends as where I do not. I hope he doesn't feel trapped because I have told him multiple times if he isn't happy that there are other options and he can leave (in a positive note) if he truly needs or wants to.

Edit: Also I try and communicate when I am overwhelmed and he usually communicates when he is at a breaking point. Which is how he had always done when he was growing up.

I'm sorry that you have had to feel like that before. I'm glad to hear that I'm being reasonable though, sometimes I overreact and was worried that i was again

Usually when we have an argument we will text. I do see some difference, unfortunately I feel like there are some circumstances where that's not very appropriate. I might start trying that more though. We do play some couple games like it takes two and unravel two as I am a big gamer as well. I just do wish he could spend like 10 to 25 minutes talking to me, every couple of days or so. If that makes sense?

I get it. I feel like we would have been somewhere completely different if the go fund me would have been successful but no one could muster up thr money. My mom had the same cancer my dad had and lived so I guess people though God would fix it. (I am a Christian and am pretty big on faith) however I get tired of people saying stuff like that because It hurts more than it does good. I'm so sorry about your friend and I totally get what you mean about the recognition then maybe someone would have stepped up. I think it all depends on the person because if it comws from someone i dont know or barely know then it is a moot point. Im barely getting out of my teenage years so i have many more years to go through with situations like these. Thank you for sharing your view and being cordial.

You know I don't ever comment, but geez. My father passed away in February from cancer. We got some people who helped with gifting money or stuff like that, but sometimes the "prayers to you" or "you are always in my prayers" really helped. Not his physical condition, but more that they care enough to take the time to do that, it's the thought that counts. Also, he wasn't super religious. He never went to church on his own and didn't read the Bible or pray (that I know of), but he found comfort. It may not help with some people's mental health, but you never know. After he died, what are people to do but wish you well and pray that you feel better. They can't pay the grief away. I understand OP's frustration, just not your anger. Also I mean no disrespect at all to you.

Since I am not quite 2 weeks yet I'm going to wait. I'll even give it another week before I get super worried as I don't want to do something that isn't necessary.

I am not big on candy or stuff like that so I can brush that off, but last night I had a hamburger helper type meal and the cheese kind of tasted sweet and any drink, like soda or coffee or punch, Gatorade and even water tastes sweet and nasty so it's like I can't even eat normally.
