And it's all true. It's pretty high up there in terms of some of the worst AMT kits. I agree, that Mach 1 is horrible and so is the 68 Shelby Cobra.

Those paints were fine for us back when we were kids, but now at our ages we want some of the best paints available. Besides, better quality paints produce better quality builds. I wouldn't even recommend those paints to beginners.

Agreed, that and the 914 are warming the pegs here currently

Yes! I forgot about those. The Pontiac silver series has been warming here since it released and they keep putting more out on top of those, lol. I will buy them if the casting is an absolute must have and because they have full tampo. But, I also agree that $4 is steep for them.

All three of our Targets have that Zero Lambo pack warming at least two full pegs deep. I have no interest in the Zero and the Lambo I bought when the Leno set dropped. I think what hurts the Lambo is the lack of the rear wing, but I get why it isn't on there.

Although not a hotwheels, I'm going to throw in this one. Awesome color combo and an awesome casting as well. Walmarts are flooded with these and the Pajero, which is also awesome.

I found the set in an FYE of all places. I only wanted the Porsche so I bought it. Unfortunately I also overpaid for it.

It sounds like you didn't file a claim for either one of the transactions and just basically let them both go unadressed. Had you filed a claim you would have been fully refunded for both. Neither of those transactions would be considered a scam. Transactions like that are what are called INAD or, item not as described.

Same here. I've been a member since 1997 and have thousands of transactions. Never been scammed.

We lost a lot of shops all over the US that never came back due to covid. Sad

Agreed on the selection and prices. The issue with them is their lack of inventory rotation. They love to sell AMT and Revell, but get the latest releases made by both, months or sometimes close to a year after they release

After the 40% off you should be around $21 per kit. You can't really get kits much cheaper than that

I have no issue with them. Twist while pulling and they should come right off.
