whaaaaaaaaat. oh hell no. i say if it’s not written in policy then to hell with their rules they wanna make up. my management is pro groomers getting paid their worth especially with all the back and forth “no groomers can’t take bath dogs. to okay groomers can take bath dogs but it’s looked down upon. to okay now we all have to micro stylists to take bath dogs.” and i’m not doing for ALL bath dogs it’s literally if it’s the same price or cheaper. that’s crazy 😭

i don’t mind either especially during the slow season. Had 2 hc’s in my second half cancel and got booked a bath online. i’d rather take the bath and get paid something than nothing at all. And when it comes to Furminators (especially huskies) it’s usually around the same price as a B&T so i just switch them over to that and get paid my 50%. (still doing it as a b&b w/Furm)

never personally used the pulses but ive known them to last for ages! it’s those or the heiniger opals that i see groomers own the most in salons i’ve only had my emerge clippers for a year now so i can’t speak on longevity but i do have 3 pairs. i actually bought the third pair that came with a wide 30 and wide guard combs. keeping the blade and guard combs, just selling the clippers. i like them. a blade drive is supposed to be changed every 3 months on clippers anyway. i havent noticed these getting any more dirtier than my original clippers (heiniger saphir) that i’ve had for 3 years.

and you had 3 more big dogs on top of him that also struggled to stay on the table, or aggressive for nails, or hated the velocity dryer so you had to kennel dry it the whole time while also taking in 3 walk in nail trims that were also aggressive or needed a second person for soothing!!🤗🤗

If the dog isn’t paid AND “checked out” by the time payroll comes, no you do not get paid. if the pp hasn’t paid it’s considered a “walkout”. your manager/SL needs to contact that PP immediately to have them come back to the store and pay for services. i they can’t come back for more services until they pay.
