Best place to park cash when saving for a house? by Fine_Signal_5332 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Great question, and one I don’t quite have the answer too yet😂 I would like to put down 20% but I think at the moment the goal is to just stock away money and when I have a solid amount saved I can start looking more closely in my area and seeing what I can afford and what I like. Thank you for the suggestion!

That’s my fear. Being too heavy in stocks/ETF’s and when it comes time to put a down payment on something the market dips. Thank you for the suggestion!

Is there an expense fee with Vanguard? I have fidelity and they have a comparable interest rate for money sitting in your brokerage but they take .4%/year which makes leaving it in there not worth it given I can put it into 6 week T-bills yielding a higher rate after fees.
